Hudson's Blessing Day!

June 28, 2015
Today is a day I will always remember. We blessed Hudson today and it was so special and so great to be surrounded by family.
I wanted to include some of the wonderful things Stephen included during Hudson's blessing.
He blessed Hudson that:
-He would have the desire to get to know the Savior and Heavenly Father through prayer and scripture study. Those relationships will bless Hudson's life.
-He would be able to withstand the adversary and the tempations of the world.
-He would have a desire to serve a mission when the time comes and that he will find a righteous companion to marry in the temple.
-He will know how much he is loved by his mom and dad.
-He will know how much his sisters love and care for him and that they will develop a special bond.
-He will walk the path his grandparents have paved for him.

We are so grateful to have Hudson in our family!

St George

June 19-21, 2015

We had such a fun time in St George for the Johanson/Jett family reunion. It was full of playing, swimming, eating, dancing, etc. The girls were in heaven and were running around having a blast with their cousins.
The drive went smoothly as well. We stopped once to eat and once to feed Hudson. Other than that the girls enjoyed watching movies and coloring in the car and Hudson slept the majority of the time.
I sadly had a bad ear infection. Friday night we arrived in St. George and I had a fever and my ear was throbbing. I stayed back at the condo while they went to dinner with the family. The doctor gave me some antibiotic drops for my ear but they weren't helping. I knew I wouldn't be able to get back to the doctor until monday so I survived by taking tylenol and Ib profen back to back to help with the pain.
Lucky and Hudson are only 3 weeks apart.
I am so grateful for Stephen. He is such a wonderful dad and such a caring husband.
I am SO lucky to have him as mine!
Saturday morning we played tons of fun games!

Aunt LeeAnn got to snuggle with Hudson. :)

Wyatt and Savannah are best buds. They held hands everywhere they went and were pretty much together 24/7.
Zonked out with mom while everyone was swimming.

 Jett cousins
Bath time for Hudson. He loves bath time and is so calm while he gets a bath.

More of June!

We are enjoying our busy summer.
Stephen is busy studying for the bad that he takes at the end of July.
I am busy being at home with the kids. Sometimes I feel like I am in survival mode because some days are so crazy. I am usually exhausted by the end of the day. These three keep me busy but we sure love them.

We went to the petting zoo with some friends. The girls loved seeing the different animals...especially the peacock.
 Hudson 7 weeks old.
 Daddy and his boy
I am always grateful when places have things to distract your kiddos.
I love when he sleeps with his hands by his face.

Hudson 1 month update

Hudson is just over one month old so I wanted to do an update.
Weight: 8 lbs
Nurses: Every two hours on the dot. Even during the night... I am getting tired.
Tummy time: 15 min each day. His little neck is getting stronger and stronger.

If Hudson is upset he immediately calms down the second you start talking to him and pick him up.
He likes the binky but gets really mad if you give it to him when he is hungry.

He is such a joy and is so adored by all of us!

Sunny weather fun!

June 2015

The girls are at such a fun age. I love watching them interact and play with friends. We have cute neighbor girls that play often. They had a blast swimming in the pool I bought from Walmart.
Tammy Lee is so sweet with Hudson. She loves to hold him and will kiss his head any time he cries. She is very gentle and says, "awww" over and over when she holds him.
Savannah is my life saver. Sometimes when I am trying to get something done like unload this dishwasher she will hold him and it is so helpful for me.
Nana got these two these darling aprons. We made brownies for FHE and they loved wearing their aprons.
 Hudson - 5 1/2 weeks old.
Whitney was visiting and we took the girls to the splash  pad.
