Easter Shenanigans

We had a blast celebrating Easter this year.
We did a couple egg hunts, spent lots of time with family,
and felt so grateful that #becauseofHim we can be together as a
family for eternity!

Here are the girls at our ward Easter Egg hunt! Savannah went
from egg to egg as fast as she could!
Tammy Lee didn't skip a beat and put as many eggs as possible in her basket.
Once she realized there was candy inside she was thrilled!

The Easter Bunny even came to Nana and Papa's house and
they did another hunt on Sunday!

The clear eggs kept distracting Tammy Lee. She could see the candy inside
she was determined to eat it.
 I spy a pink egg!
We went on a fun walk up Hobble Creek Canyon. The weather was perfect!

 Stacey photobombing! ;)
 Love my cousin!

BIGGEST aunts I have ever seen in my life! WOW!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Princess Dresses and Snuggles

Savannah loves to get all dressed up. She calls church dresses her princess dresses and spins her little heart out in them!

The girls nursery teacher sent me this picture. Tammy Lee has had a hard time being away from mom and dad for a couple hours during church on Sundays. Their teacher said the only time Tammy Lee stops crying is when Savannah hugs her. Glad they have each other... so sweet!

This never happens anymore and I was loving it. Tammy Lee is a snuggler and I was holding her the other afternoon and she zonked out on me. So sweet...I love this.
I think I need another new born to snuggle ;)

Love my sweet T-Lee!

Sometimes life is just hard... and you need to cry!

Sorry for the nudity... but Sav is my "big" helper and insisted that she could wash Tammy Lee's hair and didn't need any help! Tammy Lee is a good sport!

New Adventures

Stephen was offered two different internships this summer. One is in Houston, Texas and the other is in Portland, Oregon. We will be in Houston May and June and in Portland July and August.
It has been so chaotic the last couple weeks trying to figure out how we are going to get there, trying to find a place furnished which has practically been impossible, trying to find a place that will do a two month lease, and also trying to find renters to live in our house for 4 months.
So far it looks like we will be sleeping on air mattresses for the next 4 months. But hey, I am ready for this little adventure and am so grateful Stephen was offered such great internships.
The best part is we can be all together as a family. We don't have to split up this summer like we had to last. Sleeping on air mattresses and not having a couch is totally worth it to me if that means we can be together. :)

All three of us love this guy!

Sunny days!

The month before Stephen finishes a semester I am pretty much a single mom. He becomes SO busy with studying and preparing for finals we don't see him much. He is on his fourth semester of law school so we are pretty familiar with what the last month of school is like. Stephen leaves around 8 in the morning and comes home around 11 p.m. in the evening.
The sunny weather has helped keep me sane for the last couple weeks without a husband around. The girls love playing outside and I love their big grins.
These two are my world. Love them SO much!

Miss Tammy Lee is 19 months and is quite the busy bee.
She climbs on everything, is very adventurous, loves reading books, gets so excited when she see's a baby, and loves any kind of animal. She is not a fan of nursery and will cry and cry until she is brought to  us. She has the cutest facial expressions and mannerisms. She can be quite fiesty and is not afraid to express herself when she is upset.

Savannah is 3 and loves to change her outfit multiple times a day. She loves to play with her little sister and often tells me that TT is her favorite. She loves to color and paint. She loves to sing and dance. She is deff a pleaser and loves when Stephen and I are proud of her. She is starting to ask lots of questions such as: "Mom, why is this a slide?" or "Mom, why is that a dog." She makes me laugh with all her curious questions and spunky personality.

*The Darling Daffodil*

I started my etsy shop about 10 months ago and have had so much fun with it. It has been a lot of work yet so rewarding. I love being able to craft and make cute accessories for people. When I started it I only sold headbands but have expanded it and now sell headbands, hair clips, bow ties, and gum ball necklaces. Here are some of my most recent items and my awesome models who let me take loads of pictures of them for my shop.

These three handsome men are modeling a bow tie set.

Savannah and Tammy Lee are so great at letting me take pictures of them in bows and necklaces.

Go check out my etsy shop here!

Wishy Washy Weather

Utah has some serious weather issues. One day it is sunny and hot outside and the next it is snowing. I don't know about you but we are all ready for spring over here!

It was so pretty outside and we got out our sandals and sunglasses.
then the next day it was snowing... The girls didn't seem to mind though! We all bundled up and enjoyed some outside fun anyways!
Ruth and I took our kids to feed the horses. he kids loved it but Tammy Lee was especially happy. She would crack up hysterically every time the horse would eat a carrot from her hand. It was sooo stinkin cute!
Savannah is my little helper nowadays. She loves to be a part of whatever I am doing. Especially when I am making dinner or doing something in the kitchen. She helped me bag out green smoothies to put in the freezer.
This is Savannah's cute friend King. King's mom (Lorie) and I grew up together in GA and it has been so fun getting together and letting our kids play!

Tammy Lee is a complete daddy's girl. She is attached to his hip whenever he is home.
The 18 month tantrums have begun. T-Lee was mad at this particular moment because I closed the freezer and wouldn't let her play inside it. O and she really loves to throw things in the toilet so we all have to make a constant effort to keep the bathroom doors closed. Gotta love her!
