It is a new year and the first month is almost over. Time is flying by. We have been enjoying our new year and are looking forward to what 2014 brings. Made lots of resolution...some of which I have already failed at. (oops) but there are some that i am still going strong with so that is a plus!
Stephen started his 4th semester of law school. We have made it 1/2 way. Only 3 more semesters to go. Do you think we can survive? Some days I want to throw in the towel and be done with all this schooling. I am ready for the next phase of our lives and Stephen having a job again and having a normal life is very appealing.
I am enjoying just being a mom to two of my favorite girls. They keep me on my toes and keep me so busy. They make me smile and laugh everyday. I am really grateful to be at home with them even though Stephen is in law school right now. I am having fun with my etsy shop and have learned so much. I am still an online assistant for a BYU-Idaho course which has been great. I am loving being in the Primary presidency and have learned SO much!
Savannah is almost 3! Holy cow... I can't believe I will have a 3 year old. This girl is SO darling and I love listening to her sing and tell me funny stories. We have really learned how to work with her strong willed personality. She loves to be independent and giving her a little extra time to put her shoes and coat on by herself can make the biggest difference. She is always so proud when she can do things on her own. She is also very sweet and sensitive. She is always concerned when others are sad or hurting. She is so social and loves to do play dates and go anywhere outside of the home.
Tammy Lee is my busy bee right now. She is climbing and getting into EVERYTHING. She has figured out how to move chairs to get to what she wants. She makes lots of big messes and is usually attached to my hip between 4 and 6 pm. Which is just lovely because I am usually making dinner around that time which can make cooking a little difficult. ;) She says a couple words such as: hot, up, mama, dada, and all done. She has cute blonde curls and 6 teeth!
This is miss Savannah before church on Sunday. She loves church!
We went to see Stephen at school a couple weeks ago. The girls love holding hands now and i think it is the cutest thing ever!
Chopped off three inches.
While Lorie and I were chatting King and Savannah found their way to the brownies. They pulled up the food storage buckets and everything!
Snowy day = lots of snuggles!
I love that Stephen always makes an effort to do things that he knows are important to me. I love having a nicely made bed. I came home from my workout to a clean room and a made bed and it made my day... its the little things!
One of our resolutions has been to make more time to go on dates. It has been so nice to get a babysitter and just enjoy a night out every couple weeks. I am always up for more time with this guy... and a night of not having to cook is deff a bonus! :)
