Fall Fun!

Savannah's hair is getting long! It is so fun to style and I love that
she lets me try all kinds of fun things!
My friend Trisha put together this darling Princess treasure hunt for the girls.
It was full of clues and treasures at the end. Savannah was so into it. It was so fun
to watch.
 Tammy Lee reading a clue...
 They found the treasures!

Savannah finished her dance class and loved going every Tuesday. I loved watching her dance!

Spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Jett

The girls had such a fun afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa Jett. They took them to Gardner's Village and they loved looking at all the witches. Savannah and Grandpa paired up and Grandma and Tammy Lee paired up. After their fun outing, we met them back at their house for some delicious halloween soup and bread. We are so grateful to have such loving grandparents on both sides. :)

Trunk or treat

We went to my parents trunk or treat Thursday night and ours Friday night! It was a fun weekend full of food, family, friend, and of course lots of candy. I don't think my girls have ever had such a sugar rush in their life!

Stephen and I decided to throw a super hero costume together last minute. This cute man in our ward always teases me about my name! He says that Jenaca Jett sounds like a Super Hero so he kept telling me how we should dress up like super heroes for Halloween. I made the capes out of knit fabric and the mask and arm bands with felt. It was fun to put together and we wouldn't have other wise dressed up. SO thanks BOB for your suggestion!
Elsa and Anna showed up at the Trunk or Treat. Savannah was in awe!
Savannah and Olivia are such cute friends!

Rapunzel and Cinderella

I love halloween! I like to go all out! The girls both wanted to be princesses this year...(surprise surprise) I quickly found a cinderella costume for an awesome deal but could not find a Rapunzel one anywhere. The only place I could find it was at the disney store and it was significantly over priced. I decided to be brave and make it. I followed a tutorial I found off Make it and Love it and went to town. I was stumped on a couple parts but my awesome mom was willing to help me anytime! I loved how it turned out and once Savannah put it on she was squealing with so much excitement it made it worth all the effort.
Tammy Lee was so cute in her Cinderella dress. She still wasn't sure what came along with Halloween and trick or treating but quickly caught on once she realized she got candy in her bucket. She loved getting all dressed up and twirled and bowed in her princess dress over and over again.
Holidays are so much more fun when you have kids. We had a blast celebrating halloween this year!

Mish Mash

Spencer and Mandy came to visit and we had a fun day with them. The girls loved spending time with them. We went on walks, had races, got some ice cream, and met up with the rest of the family for soup!

Bonfire fun with cousins. We are loving the fall time!
We have had our fair share of home repairs since being back home. Our pipe busted on the side yard and flooded. We still need to dig it up and replace the pipe. Shortly after getting home our refrigerator stopped working and that was a $300 repair. Next our dryer died and we had to buy a new one. And last but certainly not least we had a huge leak in our roof that caused the insulation above Tammy Lee's room to mold. I noticed because I saw mold on her ceiling and was very concerned. We went on top of the roof to find a patch of shingles missing from big wind storms this summer. We are getting ready to cut out the drywall, replace the insulation and wood, re-dry wall, and patch up the roof. We have had quite the work load and expenses. I hope we are done!
My little buddies at the doctors office with me!
Tammy Lee is such a snuggler... I love it so much! Don't grow up!
Stephen took the girls out and he came back with tennis racquets for them. He secretly wants them to love tennis. Savannah is especially into right now and is quite cordinated. It is so fun to watch him teach her!
Baking cupcakes for Jessie's birthday! Savannah loves helping me in the kitchen!
Tammy Lee is quite the character. We were shopping at costco and she plopped herself right on top of a box of chips!
