The Law School Student's Wife...

I think I have a little taste of what it would be like to be a single mom. Having a husband in law school is pretty much like being a single mom. Today is Wednesday and since Monday I have only seen Stephen for a total of 2 hours. Normally it isn't this crazy but this week in particular is super busy because they have their Trial Advocacy competition and Stephen keeps winning the debates so he moves on to the next round. I feel bad because a part of me wishes he would loose so that he can come home to us. ;)

All in all it isn't too bad. I have gotten used to it. Normally he gets home around 7 and we eat dinner, he chases Savannah around the house, we give the girls baths, tuck them in bed, and then we cuddle on the couch and catch up! Sometimes my days are looooong. It isn't easy to keep a 2 year old entertained inside all day long. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am for the summer so we can go on walks, the park, etc. Thank goodness for some great friends who keep me company while we let our kiddos run around and play!!

I am so grateful Stephen is such a hard worker and is so determined. He has so many great qualities. He always does all he can to be home with us and when he is home he makes every minute count!

This and that...

Has anyone else hated this winter as much as me? I am done with all the sickies going around, icy roads, snow, and cold weather. I am longing for spring time and the sun to come out again. I want to get out of the house and I get tired of constantly worrying that my girls or Stephen and I will catch some kind of sickness if we go somewhere. We have been making the best of this cold winter and there isn't a day that goes by that these cute girls don't make me smile and laugh.

Savannah loves to wear her sunglasses. The best is when she puts them on by herself because they are usually crooked and backwards but she doesn't seem to mind.

She is brushing her teeth in style with her pink shades.

Have I mentioned how much fun I am having being able to do Savannah's hair now that she has enough of it. She knows that doing her hair is a part of our routine each morning and she will happily grab me the spray bottle, hair ties, and comb! ;)

Savannah is so ready for T-Lee to start playing with her. She always brings her toys to play with, asks her to sit by her, and tickles her and I think she is getting tired of the no response. Stephen always puts savannah on his back and crawls around the floor and Savannah decided she wanted to have Tammy Lee ride on her back. Tammy Lee is such a good sport! ;)

She looks so big in these pictures. I can't believe I have a toddler... what? SO crazy how fast time flies by and I love watching her grow. She is talking up a storm and is putting 2 and 3 words together. Her favorites are:
"Where is it?"
"Mama sit, me sit"
"Mama, Dada, T T, Me" (While pointing to each one of us)

Now that Savannah is in a big girl bed I was able to finish Tammy Lee's room. I love the bright and happy colors!

We had T-Lee's 4 month appt the other day. She is 15 lbs and 25 inches long. 75th% for weight and 86th% for height. She is my chubby girl and I love that she is so healthy. Savannah was always so little so its new to have to clean between all her fat rolls when giving her a bath. haha love her!

Savannah was so easy to transfer to a big girl bed. She has done amazing and never leaves her bed... I feel very lucky!

TWINNERS!
