10 things...

10 things you may or may not know about me:

1.     I am most deff a morning person. I am almost always in bed by 10 and wake up around 6. I like working out, showering, and getting ready before the girls are up. If I wake up any later than 7 I feel sluggish all day and I hate it.

2.     I have never been away from my girls for more than a couple hours. This weekend will be the first weekend that I will be gone over night and I am excited but also nervous about it.

3.     I am obsessed with decorating my house for all holidays. Even the smaller ones like Valentines Day and St. Patrick’s Day. I pretty much have a wreath made for each one as well.

4.     I am the only girl in my family and have 3 extremely active and athletic brothers yet I am such a girly girl.

5.     Stephen is my best best friend. Seriously so grateful for him and feel blessed everyday that he is mine.

6.     I am a little crazy when it comes to vacuuming. I probably vacuum at least twice a day because I can’t stand crumbs. I usually just leave the vacuum out because I use it so often.

7.     I am the annoying person on the phone who is always multi tasking….feeding a baby, picking up toys, doing puzzles with sav, folding laundry. (Sorry in advance)

8.     I love DIY projects. Nothing better than making something yourself and loving the outcome.

9.     I am a big fan of hot hot hot baths right before bed. Like so hot you are dizzy and light headed when you get out.

10. I take a whole bunch of pictures and videos of my girls. I have so many and I love looking back on them. They are my world!

Love this guy...

Most of my posts are all about my girls but this man needs a good shout out too! In December he will be half way down with law school. That is quite exciting if you ask me. Glad we have all survived thus far. Although he is super busy and gone a lot of the time when he is home he is the BEST dad and husband. When he walks in the door, books go away, he chases and play with girls, and we can just enjoy family time.

I am grateful for him everyday!

The Peter Pan Clan

We had so much fun celebrating Halloween this year. I love that Savannah is old enough to enjoy all the parties and trick or treating. She loves dressing up and she was thrilled to wear butterfly wings and a tutu. She is the cutest little Tinkerbell to me. Her blond hair and bun are perfect for it. We went to our ward Trunk or Treat in our ward and she quickly got use to the swing of things. She was so cute and said "trick or treat" and "thank you" at each stop.

Tammy Lee was the crocodile. I bought a 6-12 month costume on ebay and it was a bit small. We couldn't button the legs but she still looks so stinkin adorable. She didn't love the hat being on so we pretty much only put it on for pics. She loved just observing and sitting on Daddy's lap while he passed out all the candy.

Stephen was Peter Pan for the 2nd time in a row. I made a little hat out of felt, borrowed the costume from my awesome aunt and bam he was good to go!

I was Tiger Lily... I was going to be Wendy but I found some indian stuff at a garage sale so I decided to switch!

Pictures galore...Enjoy!

Olivia and Savannah are really cute friends and happened to both be Tinkerbell... they are the same age although Sav looks older cuz she is so stinkin tall for her age!

Hope everyone had a great halloween!!!

2 going on 20...

Savannah is so much fun. She keeps me on my toes and I can hardly believe she is almost 3. She has a big personality and is my social little butterfly. I like doing updates of what they are like at their current age because I transfer it over to their personal scrapbooks that I do on Shutterfly.

-Savannah loves to sing... her favorite songs are currently:
Itsy Bitsy Spider, Ring around the Rosy, I am a Child of God, and lots of the Daniel Tiger Songs. Daniel Tiger is a TV show that teaches topics by singing songs. She will sing them all the time and it always makes me smile. My favorite is when she sings the potty song. As soon as she has to go she sings, "If ya have to go potty STOP and go right away. Flush and wash and be on your way." Another one she sings often is about grown ups coming back. The other day I made a comment of how I wanted daddy to come home. She said, "mommy don't worry... grownups come back!" Too cute!

Everywhere we go Savannah likes to tell random people that her name is "Sabi Jane" and she is "two." All her V's are pronounced as B's so she says "Hi, I'm Sabi Jane." ;)

I think Sav picked up some of her organizing capabilities from me. It is a good and bad thing. She organizes all her toys and likes to put matching colors together. She is so good at cleaning up her toys and always makes sure they are put in the right place.. if not she will let you know and will fix it right away.

I love listening to her talk and play with her toys. She loves playing with her princesses and will talk for them, i love it!

I try to do play dates a couple times a week because Savannah looks forward to playing with friends. She loves going places and if a friend is coming she will be thrilled. Our next door neighbor Chase is 4 but him and Savannah love playing together. She is always so sad when he has to go home.

She used to be the pickiest eater but has done SO much better when it comes to eating. Her fav foods right now are: Green smoothies, yogurt, blueberries, fruit snacks, grilled chicken, and cheese.

She can count to ten, say her ABC's, identifies shapes, and knows most colors.

I love watching her grow! So happy to be her mom!

On the go...

I figured I should do an update on Tammy Lee since she is growing like crazy! This cute girl does some sign language, walks, goes down stairs, gets into everything, annoys her sister, makes us smile, and so much more.

Her little personality is growing so much and I love seeing her cute little traits. I think she is the spitting image of her dad. She literally has SO many of his features. Those big blue eyes, blonde hair, ears that poke out at the bottom. I did so much work carrying her for 9 months and she looks nothing like me... sheesh!! haha

Here she is signing "eat." I took the picture as she was pulling her hand away but you get the idea.
Some other signs she does is: please, thank you, more, all done.

I am amazed she kept this headband on her head as long as she did. She usually takes them off immediately... I have finally accepted it cuz we all know how much i love bows! ;)

And off she goes... she is walking everywhere now. Although as soon as I put shoes on her she crawls!

Those cheeks... i could eat them... they are too cute!

And that dimple... kills me!

And this is where my photo shoot ended because T- Lee decided she was all done!
Love you Tammy Lee!!!

My Little Hairdresser

Savannah has been really into "doing my hair" lately. She is really good at letting me do her hair each morning and lately she has been asking to do mine. She brushes and brushes and then attempts to put a hair tie in. I love these little moments with her where she feels so proud and so big!

Thanks Savannah for my silky smooth brushed hair!
