Summer fun!

It has been a fun summer. These girls keep me so busy! Tammy Lee is crawling now and is all over the place. She loves to climb stairs, open drawers, pull out all the toys, etc. I have tried to plan lots of fun things to go out and do during the day because Savannah loves getting out of the house. She is so much happier when she can go socialize, play, and use up all the energy she has.

Sometimes being a mom can be exhausting... trying to keep the house clean, feed them, do laundry, grocery shop, run errands, and the list goes on. But I truly LOVE being a mom.... it is so rewarding! I feel so blessed every day that these girls are mine. Stephen and I never imagined how much love we would have for them. They are wonderful!

Tammy Lee is my snuggler. I love when she lays her head down on my chest. Moments like this I just want time to stop.

Bath time is anxiously awaited for at out house. These two make me laugh so hard. Tammy Lee puts up with all Savannah's hug and squeezes like a champ.

Nothing like a choke hold from your sister.

Oh no... my chubby baby is losing all her rolls. Her legs are getting smaller and smaller. At least she still has those big chubby cheeks!

We went and got Snow Cones with Nana after work the other day. I ordered a kiddie size for Savannah and this is what I got. ummmm.... it was HUGE. She had that smile on her face the entire time she ate it.

There T-Lee is snuggling again. HEAVEN!

These pics are the day after Stephen got home from Texas. Even though he is still selling it makes the biggest difference being able to see him sat nights and sundays. We love daddio!

Idaho Reunion

I am a little out of order on my posts but o well. We love our Idaho family reunions every summer. We missed going last summer because we were in Oregon for Chase and Jessie's wedding so it was fun to be back. Stephen was still selling in Texas and wasn't able to make it. We missed him tons but Savannah was in heaven. She loved playing outside with all the cousins and had to be in on all the action. She loved jumping on the trampoline, swimming in the snake river, playing with water balloons, sliding on the slip and slide, painting, playing with the dogs, etc.
Tammy Lee was intrigued by all the people around and was a little nervous at times with so much going on. She preferred for me to hold her but became more comfortable after we had been there a day or two.
I have so many great memories of going to my grandmas house in Idaho growing up and it is so fun to watch my girls play and have fun there as well!

Day at the Zoo!

We had a fun day at the Hogle Zoo last week! We hadn't been yet and felt like Savannah was at a fun age to go to the zoo. She is obsessed with animals right now and she was in heaven seeing them all up close. Her favorite was the elephants. She would point to all the animals we passed and would label the mommy, the daddy, and the baby.
Tammy Lee thought it was pretty great too. She chilled in her stroller and enjoyed looking at everything around her. She is such an easy baby. Although now that she is crawling I have to keep my eye on her... she gets into everything!

There isn't anything better than family time!

We had such a fun day and splurged on ice cream at the end. It was well worth it! Savannah couldn't stop smiling!

4 years down... eternity to go!

Stephen took the day off work for our anniversary on July 31st and it was so much fun. Can't believe we have been married for 4 years. Crazy how much has happened in those four years. We bought our first home, both received our bachelors degrees, had two darling girls, and Stephen is beginning his second year of law school. It has most deff been the best four years of my life. I am so grateful for him and love him so much!

We had a fun day at the Zoo with the girlies and that night my mom watched the girls so we could go to a nice dinner at our favorite restaurant Carrabas!

Our dating days!

First halloween together after being married. We lived in Cambridge Court apartments and dressed up as babies. It took some convincing on my part but Stephen gave in and it was hilarious!

Pregnant with miss Savannah Jane. We found out she was a girl that day.

Christmas time in GA. (Pregnant with Sav)

Savannah 2 1/2 years old

This fun girl has so much personality. She is sweet, spunky, bubbly, social, fiesty, determined, independent, and happy. She is all about having a good time and loves to get out of the house and do fun things. She loves going to the playground, going swimming, going on walks, riding her bike, playing with friends. I am having so much fun watching her grow. She is not so sure about Tammy Lee lately. Some days she loves her and is so great at sharing the toys. Other days she is annoyed by her and doesn't want her to touch the toys she is playing with. But if Tammy Lee is crying or upset Savannah will be the first one there to pat her back and give her the binky or a toy. She is also very protective of Tammy Lee and doesn't like other kids to hurt or take any toys from her.

She is very independent. LOVES to do things on her own like put on her clothes, get the milk out of the fridge, put her shoes on, buckle her own seatbelt, open her door, etc. She feels so accomplished when she can do these things and I have learned to give her a little extra time because it is so important to her. All day I hear the phrase, "mommy, me do it!" Then, "Look mommy, I did it!"

I love this age... fiestyness and all!

Tammy Lee 10 months

This cute girl keeps me on my toes. She is all over the place now that she is crawling and pulls up on anything and everything. She usually has a bruise or two on her forehead from bonking her head on something when she is pulling herself up.

10 months milestones:
-She has mastered going up stairs
-Waves hi and claps when you say "yay"
-LOVES to be held
-Gives the best snuggles
-Shy when other people talk to her
-Loves when Savannah pays her attentionGets into everything (toilet paper, kitchen drawers, diaper cabinet etc)
-Has big blue eyes
-Has some serious separation anxiety
-So strong and flexible
-Sleeps at least 12 hours each night (Hooray)
-Goes crazy during bath time... she loves to splash
-Prefers eating real food rather than nursing. (only nurse her twice a day now)
-Not a fan of the carseat
-Chubbiest cheeks around

She melts my heart. Love my Tammy Lee!
