Give Thanks!

Thanksgiving is coming up and at church last Sunday the talks were on the importance of writing down all you are thankful for. There are SO many things I am thankful for especially my wonderful husband. I am SO grateful for Stephen... I couldn't ask for a better best friend or husband. I am so blessed to have you by my side forever. I LOVE YOU!

Our Apartment!

Stephen and I have lived in Cambridge Court for 3 months now. We have loved our small, cute apartment even though there isn't much space! It has been perfect and we love all the people that live near us. I decided I would put some pictures up of our apartment now that we have all our furniture and everything organized!

SO we got TONS of frames as wedding gifts and I didn't really know what to do with them. I attempted to make a picture wall but it didn't turn out like I hoped. O well ;)

We were so excited to finally get a table... we went almost 2 months without a table because we were waiting on this table. It is actually the table my family used growing up and my wonderful mom sent it out here from Georgia. It's pretty big and makes things a little more squishy in the apartment but we LOVE it!

Well there it is... we love our little apartment. Today I was taking Dallas for a walk in his neighborhood and I was looking at all the houses and wanted to buy one SO bad. Haha... now that I am married I just can't wait for Stephen and I to have a house of our own. It will be so fun to decorate and paint the walls and all that fun stuff. I know that won't be for a while but I seriously can't wait!

HALLOWEEN!!

Stephen and I had such a fun Halloween weekend. We dressed up as babies with footy pajamas...binkies...teddy bears... and pigtails. It was pretty funny and those flannel footies kept us nice and warm outside! ;)

First, we went to our ward party at the bishops barn. It was so fun to see all the cute costumes everyone dressed up in. Collette was a crashed flight attendant and Kyle was a crashed pilot!
We LOVE our ward. It was a fun activity full of costume contests, pumpkin carving contests, pie eating contests, and a chili cook off!

Saturday we went out with the kiddos and took them trick or treatin. Georgia looked SO stinkin cute in her Ghostbuster outfit.

Saturday night we got together with our group of friends, dressed up in costumes, played games, and ate lots of junk food.

Busy... busy... busy! :)

I really need to get better at updating our blog. We have been very busy with work, school, and fun!
Updates on Stephen and I:
Stephen is working hard in school and we just found out he got into the strategy program at the BYU Marriott School of business. He was busy taking tests, writing papers, and going to interviews while he was trying to get in. They only accept 50 people who apply and Stephen is one of them. It is a really big deal and I am so happy for him!
I am enjoying both my jobs in Spanish Fork and Alpine. I love the sweet boy I watch on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He is 5 months now and is one happy boy who is always smiling! On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I work in Alpine cooking, cleaning, laundry, and going grocery shopping for a family. My favorite part is cooking because I have learned so many delicious meals.
October has been a fun month! Full of hanging out with friends, carving pumpkins, going costume shopping, and planning fun activities... we are loving it. This Friday we are going to a ward activity at the Bishop's Barn. It will be full of candy, games, costume contests, pumpkin carving contests, and pie eating contests. :) After that party we are going with Kyle and Collette to Katie's Halloween party. It will be a blast.
I wish I could post pictures but I am not updating on my computer. I will post pictures soon!

Go Cougars!

Stephen and I have enjoyed going to the BYU games with our all sports pass. Last Friday we played against Utah state and beat them 35-17. It was a fun game and we look forward to the next one! :)

Stephen asked me out. We went on a fun group date in Provo... bowling and dinner!

Whose siblings do you see the most?
Stephen's siblings. Most of them live in Utah so it works out great.

Do you have any children together?
Not yet!

What about pets?
No, no animals aloud in our apartment.

Did you go to the same school?
Kinda... i attended byu-idaho for 2 years and got my associates... I am now working on transferring to BYU to finish school with him.

Who is the most sensitive?
We both are pretty sensitive... which works out great cuz we are always really careful because we never want to hurt each others feelings ;)

Where is the furthest you two have traveled together as a couple?
Florida for our honeymoon... it was such a blast we want to go back!

Who has the worst temper?
Neither of us really have a temper. Stephen is so passive... sometimes I can be a little stubborn.

Who does the cooking?
I have loved cooking and learning new recipes. When he is home we cook together but if he is at work I will cook so we can eat together when he comes home.

Who is more social?
I think we're both pretty social.

Who is the neat freak?
haha probably me. I just like things to be organized and in place. Stephen is really good at making sure he does that because he knows I appreciate it.

Who is the most stubborn?
Deff me.

Who hogs the bed?
Haha, from what I hear it's me. Stephen says I roll a lot and spread out like a starfish, every night. Once Stephen is alseep he barely moves.

Who wakes up earlier?
Stephen wakes up at 5 every morning to get a early start to work. He doesn't even have to be there that early he is just dedicated.

Where was your first date?
Bowling and Burger Supreme :)

Who has the bigger family?
Immediate family-Stephen. He has 3 brothers and 2 sisters and 4 in-laws. Extended family-me. I have 12 aunts and uncles, and over 60 first cousins..just on my mom's side.

Do you get flowers often?
He actually just got me some for my birthday!

Who does the laundry?
I do. I actually love doing laundry... if Stephen is home he always helps me put the clothes away.

Who drives when you are together?
Stephen, he says it makes him feel more like a man..haha.

Who eats more sweets?
ME!!! I love candy... I am trying to get better about that though ;)

What's your best day together?
I'd have to say our wedding day. I know it's a pretty obvious answer but it truly was the best day of my life. So many of our family and friends where there to support us and it was the perfect day, I was so sad once it was over! My life is SO full of many blessings, all because of that one day.

Where'd you honeymoon?
We went to Orlando, Florida... it was SO amazing.

Favorite date night?
Anytime Stephen plans out something romantic.

Married Life

We have been busy busy busy but we still make time to have lots of FUN FUN FUN! Here are some pictures of some things we have done recently!

This is a picture from our honeymoon in Orlando, Florida. It was the most amazing week and we want to go back SO bad! We had so many fun memories. This particular day we were headed to Islands of Adventures.

Stephen is working hard and very busy with school and work. I am keeping myself busy with two different jobs which I am enjoying very much. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I watch a sweet 4 month old boy in Spanish Fork. He is so darling and it is so fun to spend my days with him. On Mon/Wed/Fri I work in Alpine for a family. I clean, cook meals, do the laundry, make peach jam. haha I am deff. learning a lot of great new recipes and Stephen is just loving that. :)

Anyways, there is a quick update on what is going on in our lives... I will try and get better on updating.
