Overload of Photos...

I was doing so good at blogging on a regular basis... almost everyday. But I got behind... way behind and so I have a bunch of pictures that I will share. The majority of my day consists of me and Savannah. We go on walks, we go to the park, we read books, we eat lunch, we watch cartoons, we play with toys, and we wait patiently for Daddy to get home. :)

Savannah is learning so much and is growing up so fast.

She is ready to go swimming in some nice, sunny weather.
I was making a fruit salad for dinner and gave Savannah the spoon to lick. It was such a mess but so worth it... she was loving it!
She already has such a cute sense of humor. She loves climbing in things and cracks up when I cover her with toys.
She would eat cheese for every meal if I let her.

The fun easter craft I made for the ladies I visit teach!
She is so fun!
My little walker! She looks a lot like Stephen to me in this picture below. She has so many of his features!

Happy Monday!

Park City

This weekend we all took a trip to Park City with my side of the family! It was so much fun and Savannah was in heaven with all the attention she got from everyone. We had so much fun shopping at the outlets, swimming, relaxing, hot tubbing, etc.

Savannah was completely content on the ride down as long as she could play the IPAD.
This is Chase and his cute Girlfriend Jessie. We had fun doing a puzzle Jessie made for Chase.
Here is mom making hot chocolate for everyone. She is always serving people... she is the greatest!
Stephen and I relaxing and playing card games.
Good morning to Savannah. She slept terrible not being in her own crib... luckily the next couple nights she slept much better.
They have something called "The Mine" in the hotel. It is a kids room with all kinds of fun toys. We were waiting for it to open and Savannah enjoyed exploring the waiting room.
She wanted to touch everything!
Savannah is so close to walking. She is still a little wobbly but can take 5 or 6 steps before she sits on her bum. She is walking back and forth to Chase and Travis in this pic. They were wearing sunglasses to entice her to come to them. haha
The best part was they had a kiddie hot tub. It was the same temp as your body so babies could go in. It was great and Savannah was in heaven... I think she thought it was a gigantic bath!
We had a fun weekend getaway... but it is always nice to be back home in your own bed again.

St. Patricks Day

I have had so much fun decorating for the holidays this year. I have been making almost everything which saves money and makes it so much fun. For St. Patricks day I made a wreath, 4 leaf clover banners, a Lucky banner, blocks, and Modge podged wood Lucky letters with paper and embellishments.

I bought the wood blocks below from an etsy shop called Well Good. They were only $8. Once I got them in the mail I painted them white and put scrap booking paper on along with embellishments. I loved the way it turned out.

Here is the 4 leaf clover banner that I cut with my cricut and sewed together.

My St. Patricks Day blocks
Printed this printable off pinterest!

I made this wreath by wrapping a foam wreath with burlap. I made the green flowers with felt. I made it so the flowers can come off and on so that I can use diff flowers for diff seasons. ;)

Here is a quick tutorial on the Lucky banner.
I cut seven 5 inch circles in green, seven 4 inch circles in black and white polka dots, and seven 3 inch circles in white.
I taped them on top of each other with scrap booking tape.
The finished product!

The Shopping Itch

Have you ever had the shopping itch? Sadly, I have it quite often... I love love love to shop! But shopping costs money and I like to save money... especially since Stephen is getting ready to start Law School, and we all know that isn't so cheap! ;)

So I cleaned out my closet... and got rid of all the clothes that just sat there on the hanger week after week. Then I took a little drive to Trendy Exchange. It is a clothing store that buys used clothes and re-sales them. I gave it a try and guess what... it was a success! They bought almost everything I brought and they gave me $47.27 in cash for my clothes. I decided to do a little shopping at Trendy Exchange to see what I could find with the money I was given.

The total after buying the clothes below was $51.02. I used the cash they gave me for my clothes which was $47.27 so all I had to pay out of my pocket was a little over $4.00. How great is that... 7 new outfits only cost me $4.00!

Here is a cute dress I found that can be a fun summer dress or for church. It costed $7.00. (The cardigan was not something I bought at Trendy Exchange... I just added it when I got home)
A cute red and white striped tank originally from Target. The best part is it was only $3.00.
This shirt below is originally from Forever 21... it is actually a maternity top that I thought would work great when I was pregnant again. It was $7.00.
This tank and top came together and was also $7.00.
The flowered shirt was only $2.00 and the black cardigan was $5.00.
I found a long black tank that I have needed for so long. It was $7.00.
The black undershirt was already mine and the blue top was $7.00.
Here they all are... and to think it only costed me about $4.00!
I also liked Trendy Exchange on FB which took an additional $2.00 off my total purchase!

Happy Shopping!

Over & over again...

Something that I love about babies is things never get old to them. You can do something so little that cracks them up and no matter how many times you do it they are still laughing.

For example: Yesterday Savannah and I were playing with her pillow pet before she went to bed. I kept putting it on her head and then it would fall off and she would die laughing. It was so cute how funny she thought it was. This went on for like 10 minutes... it just never got old to her.
I love this fun age where she is learning so much, exploring this world, and gaining such a fun/spunky personality!

Here are the pictures... Enjoy! ;)

Everything has a place...

I needed to figure out a solution for Savannah's toys. I was tired of throwing them in the green bucket. They were over flowing and I always felt like it was a mess... so I needed to figure something else out.

I wanted to get a cubicle for all her toys so I could organize them in the different shelfs. I did a little research online and found some at Target, Walmart, Ikea, and Lowes. Lowes had the cheapest price by far. It was $39.99 and everywhere else was $60..00-$70.00...which is way more than I was willing to spend.

Here is a picture of her toys before... in the green bucket that was overflowing.
Take a sigh of relief... much better right? I am seriously in heaven with this little cubicle... best purchase I have made in a while.
This cubby has all her little toys and blocks.
This one has all her stuffed animals.
This was has her baby doll, talking bear, and computer.
Now everything has a place...Yay! The little cubbies are perfect because Savannah knows how to pull on the little strap to get the toys she wants out but when she isn't playing I can hide them all away.

We have the best of both worlds! ;)
