Snuggles

My days are pretty much the same everyday aside from random errands and play-dates here and there. We have a routine going that works really well. I am all about routine!

A couple weeks ago I tried making some homemade laundry detergent to save some money. I have ended up really loving it and the best part is is that it only costs 1 cent per load. Pretty cool huh! I also love the fresh clean scent... it makes our clothes smell so yummy!

This girl is a total daddy's girl and Stephen just eats it right up. She is so excited when he gets home and during dinner she insists on sitting on his lap the whole time and will continue to give him hugs and kisses while we are eating. She also turns to me and says, "mama... look, dada is home."

I am so happy these two love each other so much. Savannah is SO sweet to her and I am so glad. She loves Tammy Lee to be with her at all times... I think she will be in heaven when TT can actually play and talk with her.

I have fun trying new hairstyles on Sav. She is so patient at letting me mess around with her hair while she eats breakfast!

Big Smiles and Chubby Cheeks

Have I mentioned how fun it is to have girls? I never had any sisters growing up and am SO glad I got two girls right in a row. I am glad they can have each other growing up. Don't get me wrong I would love some boys in the mix... especially for poor Stephen who is very outnumbered by us girls! He needs a boy... and insists we try every wives tale in the book to make sure I get pregnant with a boy next. But for now I just love all the fun girl stuff... the bows, the skirts, the dresses, the princess toys, and the cute hair-dos.

So glad these girlies are mine.

Me and T-Lee all ready for conference at Hobble Creek. We love spending time at Hobble Creek with my family. It is always a fun little getaway!

Tammy Lee is really into putting anything and everything into her mouth these days. More so than I remember Savannah doing at that age.

I would say my favorite baby stage is when they start sitting up before they start crawling and getting into everything. I love the stage Tammy Lee is at right now. She loves sitting up and is so content playing with her toys.

This girl loves to paint... i means LOVES. She asks me daily to paint and knows right where to get all the supplies.

I wanted to take a pic of her and I but instead she would bonk my head and start cracking up. We didn't quite get the pic I was hoping for but I love her genuine smile in these ones.

I can't tell you how nice it is to have a baby that is a good eater. Savannah never liked baby food. She was always so picky and still is. Tammy Lee has done so much better and it is such a relief. ;)

Love these two!

Crazy Faces and Fun Personalities

I tend to take way too many pictures but they always make for fun collages. I love all the fun faces. I think it shows so much of their personality!

These pics were so fun to take of me and Savannah. She would copy ever single face I did and LOVES looking at pictures of herself.

Savannah is so much fun. I love watching her personality develop. She is growing up so fast and is talking up a storm. She speaks sentences and loves being able to communicate.
Some of my favorite sayings are:
"Mama, you come det me?"  "Mama, will you come get me?"
"I eat iceam pwease?"  "Can I have some iceream please."
"No mama, I do it... you sit down"
"Siwwy TT"  "Silly Tammy Lee"

My baby is 7 months old... say what? When did this happen. She is such a fun baby and has so many nicknames... TT, Tammy Lee, T-Lee, Lovebug. She is gonna have a hard time knowing what her actual name is. ;) Tammy Lee is much more of a mamas girl than Savannah ever was. Savannah has always been very social and would go to anyone but Tammy Lee likes me to hold her when other people are around. Occasionally she will let other people hold her without getting nervous. She is sooo sweet and cuddly. There is nothing better than a cuddly baby. She has the cutest chubby cheek grin and I am in love with her baby blue eyes that look just like her daddy's.

I love my girlies... I am a lucky mama!

7 months old

Where does the time go? My little babe is over half a year old. She is growing up so fast I can hardly believe it! I still can't go over her chubby thighs, her baby blue eyes, and those round round cheeks. She makes my heart so happy and I am so grateful to be her mama.

 The little things I love:

I love when I hear her squirming in her crib when she wakes up from a nap and as soon as I pop my head over her crib and look at her she starts kicking her legs and smiles like crazy.

I love how cuddly she is and that she will lay her head right on my chest when I am holding her.

I love how smiley she gets when anyone talks to her.

I love how her eyebrows are so blond you can barely see them.

I love that she looks for me when she hears my voice.

I love how great she is doing at sitting up and reaching for toys around her.

I love how much she loves Savannah and always grabs her face while Savannah is cracking up laughing.

I love that she is so content and easy to distract.

I love that she loves the binky and that it will always calm her quickly.

I love watching her grow and hit all these new milestones.

Love you T-Lee... so happy you are mine!

1 year down...

1 year of law school down and 2 more to go.

Hooray... Stephen finished his first year of law school. All in all his first year went pretty well! Aside from the excruciating weeks before finals when we barely ever saw him because he was studying his brains off. Holy cow... law school is crazy!!!
There were days when I thought, "how in the world am I going to make it for 3 years of Stephen being in law school??" and then some days I would think, "I can totally do this... this isn't too bad!"
I am just grateful that we have finished year one. They say the first year is the hardest so lets hope year 2 won't be so crazy!
I am looking forward to this summer when he has an internship and comes home and doesn't have to worry about all the extra work and studying. That will be heaven.

I wonder what our lives will be like when Stephen graduates from law school. Will we be moving to another state? Where will he get a job? Will I have another baby or will I be pregnant again? So crazy to think of all the changes that will come. But I look forward to them... and I am so proud of Stephen for finishing his first year. He did such a good job at juggling all the work, papers, assignments, tests, and competitions while still making time for me and the girls.

He is the best. I love you babe!!

Sunday Fun!

So I have come to the conclusion that I will still blog because I include a lot of stuff in my blog that I don't include in Savannah and Tammy Lee's scrap books. I have some catch up to do since it has been about a month since I have blogged so bare with me since I will probably be posting more often than I usually do.

These pics kill me. I love my little family. Sundays are such great days not only because of church but because we get Stephen to ourselves all day long. He doesn't study and he doesn't have school...It is heaven!

Savannah's cheesy smile is to die for in this pic. I love her little legs crossed and her cute pigtails.

Tammy Lee does the best lifted eyebrow smile. She is so cute!

Love these three to pieces!

Wishy Washy...

I have been debating a lot lately. Should I still blog? I do so many other things and sometimes I feel like I am continually repeating myself. I make scrapbooks for the girls on shutterfly and I also instagram lots of pics so sometimes I feel blogging is unnecessary. At the same time, I love looking back at posts from previous years and remembering the fun things we have done.  Do any of you print your blog? How does that work... is there a website you print it from? I also keep debating if I should go private... any suggestions? One reason I want to continue blogging is because I write a lot more on my blog than I would on instagram or another social media network. Hm... lots to think about. Any input is welcomed! ;)

In the meantime... here is picture overload on what we have been up to!

I love when Stephen and I can sneak out on a date. It is so nice to spend time together... without kids! We went to our all time favorite restaurant Carrabas. YUM!

These cuties crawled in bed with us a couple Saturdays ago and Stephen snapped a pic of them hugging. I love how much Sav loves T-Lee. She loves her being around all the time... and will often cry when I put her down for nap. It is pretty funny... I wonder how long that will last.

I got Sav some fun summer sandals and realized i have some that are kind of similar. She insists that I wear my sparkly shoes anytime she wears hers.

This picture makes me kinda emotional. I love these girls SO much. I am such a lucky/blessed mama!

These two always turn the music up real loud and dance! It is the cutest!

I was a little hesitant to potty train... even though Savannah was showing all the signs that she was ready. I just love the convenience of diapers when you are out and about... but I gave in and decided to go for it. After all... our monthly bill would be a lot less expensive if we weren't buying multiple sets of diapers. Sav did awesome! She picked up on it really quick and loved how overly excited I would get anytime she would poop or pee in the potty. I think her favorite part was getting a skittle after each time she went potty. She will do anything for candy!

She loved her princess panties... and would get so mad at me when I would put a diaper on her for bed time.

I couldn't resist snapping this pic!

My little T-Lee is growing up so fast! She is the SWEETEST baby... i love her sweet smile and laugh. She is sitting up and is right on track despite being 6 weeks early! I love her to pieces and love watching her grow!

Easter fun... I am so behind on blogging as you can see. We had a wonderful Easter! Holidays are so fun with kiddos!
